Licensed ONERO® Clinic · Manly, Northern Beaches

Stop feeling fragile. Get measurably stronger.

Join the Northern Beaches locals training for their bones at a small Manly studio, supervised by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist using the ONERO® program from the LIFTMOR trials at Griffith University. Twice a week, 45 minutes, starting with a free assessment. No referral needed.

How it works...

It all starts with

Screening and assessment

  • We go through your scan results, fractures, injuries and medications
  • We check how you move and what you can safely load today
  • Technique comes first, weight is added only once you can do it well
  • You leave knowing whether this training suits you

Then

Small supervised classes

  • 45 minute sessions, twice a week
  • An Exercise Physiologist supervises every session
  • Small groups keep the cost down without losing the supervision
  • Load is progressed as you get stronger, and your progress is measured

Frequently Asked Questions

Safety is the reason the screening comes first. Before you load anything we review your scan, your fracture history and any precautions, then watch how you move and build technique from there. Nothing is added until you can do it well. Supervision continues in the classes, so you are never left to judge your own form.
A diagnosis is why most people come to us, and past injuries are common. Both change how we start, not whether you can start. Where something genuinely rules this training out, we will tell you at the screening rather than sign you up and hope.
Strength and balance usually change first, and most people notice the difference in daily tasks within the first couple of months. Bone responds far more slowly than muscle, so changes at that level are assessed over about twelve months of consistent training.
The loads that prompt bone to adapt are heavier than most people will go to alone, and going heavier without supervision is where injuries happen. What you are paying for is the prescription and the pair of eyes: knowing exactly how much load is right for you today, and someone correcting technique before it becomes a problem.
No. You can book the screening directly. A referral is only needed to claim a Medicare rebate on your ongoing sessions, which requires a chronic condition management plan from your GP. Plenty of people start first and sort the referral out afterwards.
Yes to both, on your ongoing sessions. Exercise Physiology is claimable under a Medicare chronic condition management plan with a GP referral, with up to five allied health sessions a calendar year shared across all providers. Most private health funds also cover it under extras. We claim on the spot with HICAPS, so you only pay the gap. DVA clients are also accepted.
Most people who come to us have not. The screening starts from where you are now, and the early sessions are about technique and confidence before load is added.
We are at 3/61 Sydney Road, Manly, close to the bus station at West Promenade and Belgrave Street. Parking stations are available on Gilbert Street or Whistler Street.
