ABOUT ONERO®

Not all exercise is created equal

Bone health deserves more than generic exercise advice. ONERO® is a supervised, evidence-based program designed for people with low bone mass, delivered with clinical oversight.

Walking, swimming, and yoga are all valuable, but they rarely provide the type of loading that bone tissue needs to adapt. ONERO® uses progressive resistance training to target the skeletal sites that matter most - the spine and hip.

What Makes ONERO® Different from a Gym Class

  • Individual clinical assessment before you start

  • Progressive loading designed specifically for bone health

  • Every session supervised by an Exercise Physiologist

  • No gym experience needed - we teach proper technique from day one

ONERO® is delivered in a supervised clinical setting by licensed practitioners. Classes are run in small groups, with every session supervised and programs individualised.

THE EVIDENCE

Why ONERO® Is a Leading Approach

Peer-reviewed clinical trials demonstrate that high-intensity resistance and impact training is both safe and highly effective for managing low bone mass when professionally supervised. The landmark LIFTMOR trial, published in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, showed significant improvements in bone mineral density at the spine and hip, alongside measurable increases in functional capacity and physical stature.

Why This Matters

Most general exercise—like walking or swimming—falls below the "loading threshold" required to stimulate bone growth. ONERO® is specifically designed to safely exceed this threshold, triggering the body to build stronger, denser bone tissue.

Is This For Me?

This program is right for you if:

  • You want a structured, evidence-based approach to bone health.

  • You want the confidence of a program supervised by clinical experts.

  • No prior fitness or gym experience is needed.

  • Anyone can benefit at any age.

  • No referral is necessary to get started.

Not sure if it's appropriate for you? The initial conversation will help clarify.

What Happens When You Check Your Suitability

  • Step 1: Clinical Review. We discuss your health history and bone density (DEXA) results.

  • Step 2: Movement Assessment. We trial key movements to see how your body responds to loading.

  • Step 3: Clear Roadmap. You'll leave with a plan tailored to your specific bone health needs.
