“Tom’s expertise in exercise physiology has been instrumental in developing a program tailored specifically to my needs. The exercises have helped me build muscle strength while maintaining a safe range of movement and minimising impact — an essential part of managing my condition over the long term.”

Tracey C. – Chronic Condition Client

“After a long break from proper exercise, Tom helped me get moving again safely and consistently. Within the first three months I saw significant results — I dropped a clothing size and long-standing ankle issues resolved. Since then, Tom has guided my recovery from back and arm injuries with sensible, well-structured programs, and my upper body strength has improved dramatically. He has a way of pushing you just enough to achieve meaningful progress, and he’s genuinely invested in your results.”

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need a referral to see an Exercise Physiologist?

You don’t need a referral for private sessions — you can book directly. If you’re attending under Medicare, DVA, Workers Compensation, CTP or a specific program, you will need the appropriate referral paperwork from your GP or specialist. If you’re unsure, we can guide you through what’s required.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and bring any relevant scans or reports, your referral (if applicable), a list of current medications and your private health or Medicare card. A small towel and water bottle are also helpful.

How is Exercise Physiology different to physiotherapy or a personal trainer?

Exercise Physiologists specialise in using exercise as a treatment for chronic health conditions and injuries. We focus on long-term management, behaviour change and building your capacity safely over time. We often work alongside physiotherapists, GPs and other allied health professionals as part of your broader care team.

Is the studio accessible if I use a walker or wheelchair?

Yes. Our studio is on the ground floor with step-free access, wide pathways and accessible bathroom facilities.

Can you provide reports for my GP, surgeon or NDIS plan review?

Absolutely. With your consent, we regularly communicate with your healthcare team and can prepare written progress reports or capacity assessments for medical, insurance and NDIS purposes.
